The Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, has announced the opening of nominations for the fourth edition of the 'Golden Story' award until June 15. This initiative is part of its continuous efforts to enhance the presence of the Arabic language, support cultural dynamism, and establish Abu Dhabi as a global center for creativity and knowledge. The center is inviting writers of short stories and enthusiasts of the narrative arts from around the world to submit their works according to the approved criteria and conditions for each category. The award, through its six branches, aims to honor storytellers of folk tales and support narrative arts that creatively highlight Emirati and Arab heritage. The second branch focuses on 'Published Narrative Works,' in addition to the 'Folk Narratives' branch, the 'Storytellers' branch that honors local and Arab folk tale narrators, and the 'Visual Narrative' branch. The award also includes the 'Emirati Narrative' branch, which is granted to real or corporate entities or outstanding works in the Arabic language and other languages that enhance the Emirati narrative.
